Not to be shill for my company, but if you like Mickey Mouse at all get yourself down to Disney's California Adventure to see Celebrate Mickey: 75 InspEARations Statue Tour.

Debby and I took Jamie and Kylie over the weekend and had a blast. We loved seeing all the variations that each lucky person or group inspired to celebrate Mickey's 75th birthday. The Tour leaves DCA after February 22nd, and eventually winds up in Washington D.C. where each statue will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to each designer's choice of charity. It's really wonderful to see in person and for a Saturday the crowds were not bad at all. Plus it was sunny and clear a day after cold and rain. L.A. has it pluses!


This is the girls' favorite designed by Raven-Symone star of Disney Channel's That's So Raven (shameless plug).

We even did a character lunch at the restaurant in the background of this picture. I highly recommend the Salmon, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato sandwich. We spent five hours between both parks and only went on three rides (and not because of the lines!). It was a nice change of pace and definitely easier on the wallet to do when you don't have to pay for tickets or parking.
