Constructive Criticism?

You know what I love about the Internet? It has everything! Getting off the freeway last Saturday I saw a simple sign tacked to a telephone pole directing me to AntiGreeting.com - The cure for office tension | FREE e-cards and online greeting cards. Now this is one hell of a funny website. If there is that someone less than "special" in your office that needs a can of whoop ass opened on them this is the place to go. If you need to do it anonymously look no further than AnitGreeting.com. Best of all it is free!

As tempted as I am to take advantage of their services, I am taking the high road this year.

Greece Photos

I have finally posted a selection of photos from our eleven days in Greece and the Greek Islands. Our cruising took us to the islands of Kea, Siros, Mykonos, Siphnos, Paros, AntiParos, Santorini and Hydra. There were 32 of us, mostly family, extended family and some close friends. To say that it was an incredible trip is an understatement. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed being there to take them.

London Photos

Here are some photos from our recent trip to London. We were there less than four days and in that time I saw six plays (Debby and the kids saw five), visited the Tower of London, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Trafalger Square, cruised the Thames from Buckingham Bridge to Tower Bridge and toured the city in a misty drizzle on top of a double decker bus. It was a helluva lot of fun and we are thinking of going back next summer.

By the way the six plays were The Producers, Hedda Gabler, Mary Poppins, The Big Life, Les Miserables and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Because we were staying in Leicester Square in the West End, all the theatres were in walking distance.

Next up Greece.

Launch

Monday, August 15th marks the debut of ESPN Hollywood, on ESPN2 at 3:00PST. In case you miss it, the show is on every weekday at this time. If you like Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood and People magazine then this is the show for you. If you like SportsCenter and Inside the NFL, they are on ESPN. I am hopeful that there is a segment of the viewing public that will gobble this programming up. I am undecided as I have seen only rehearsals, but I am optimistic that we will serve our viewers well with this content.

Clarification

To alleviate the confusion over an earlier posting, I did not burn the bridge that collapsed. My remarks were meant to imply that events out of my control or sphere of influence occurred that caused that bridge to no longer exist. Not that I wouldn't like to tell that entity to F-off and die, but I chose the high road. Are we clear now?

No, the food wasn't that good!

Fatboy

Here is the first of many pictures from our vacation to the Greek Isles and London. I am still on UK time and keep falling asleep at 8:00pm or earlier when I would be editing and uploading photos. Here we are on the Westminster Bridge in front of the London Eye. The wind and drizzle was a nice change from the heat of the Greek Isles.
Flickr slideshow to come. But not tonight. I have been up since 4:30am and expect to fade fast tonight after dinner.

at the end of the day....

We have been in London for about 52 hours as of this posting. Tonight we are seeing one of my favorite plays of all time, Les Miserables. Woot! We landed in Luton on Wednesday early enough to make the matinee of The Producers which was wonderful. That night I saw Hedda Gabler without Debby and the girls. They got the better end of the deal. Dry, slow and boring. Yesterday after walking around Buckingham Palace, St. James Park and going into Westminster Abbey, we caught the matinee of Mary Poppins. Absolutely terrific. All agreed that it is a must see. Then last night after dim sum in Chinatown we caught The Big Life. Fun and campy, but I was tired and did not enjoy it as much as I would have had I been more awake. Today we toured central London by double-decker bus and saw the big ticket sights including the London Eye which we went on. Also hit the Thames on a river cruise. Tower Bridge is a sight along with Big Ben and Parliment. What a city. Home Sunday. Cheers!
